FAM Scholarship

Providing financial assistance to high school seniors who are the sons or daughters of first responders in Western New York. This scholarship aims to support their pursuit of higher education at 2-year or 4-year colleges or universities. Scholarship recipients will receive $2500 per year, for up to four years.

Eligibility Requirements

Class of 2024

Seniors in the  graduating class of 2024 who attend a Western NY High School in the

following Counties:

Erie County, Niagara County, Orleans County, Cattaraugus County, Chautauqua County,

Wyoming County, Allegany County

First Responder

Senior's primary caretaker must be a local first responder, including but not limited to, firefighters,
police officers, EMT/paramedics, corrections officers, or 911 call takers, & emergency dispatchers

First Responder must be employed in Western New York

College Admission

Applicant must be accepted and plan to enroll in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university for the upcoming academic year

Official acceptance letter will be required if selected as a finalist

Academic Standing

Recipients must remain in good academic standing with their college or university as determined by their educational institution. 

Proof will be required each year to renew scholarship
