Our Mission

FAM provides resources, financial support, and opportunities for Western New York first responders and their families by fundraising and increasing community awareness of their daily efforts.

About Jason "Jay" Arno

Jason Arno was taken from us suddenly in the line of Duty on March 1st of 2023 at the age of 37.  He was a beloved son, brother, husband, and, above all, a father to his daughter Olivia. Jay was the very best friend to many he touched along the way.

A Buffalo native, Jay loved the area having been born and raised in North Buffalo before starting his family there, attended Canisius High School, and was a passionate sports fan of the Bills and Sabres. Prior to beginning his service in Buffalo Fire Department, he worked at many of the area's top restaurants.

Jay's courage and big heart were known by his family and friends long ago. FAM Foundation will carry on his passion to serve others.
